AI Disclosure

How We Use AI

Turnkey Dispatch uses artificial intelligence to answer phone calls on behalf of home-service businesses. When someone calls a business that uses our service, they speak with an AI voice agent, not a human.

Caller Disclosure

Every call begins with the AI identifying itself. A typical greeting:

"Thanks for calling [Business Name]. I'm the AI receptionist helping [Owner] after hours. How can I help you?"

We never pretend the AI is a human employee. This is our policy regardless of state law, and is also required under California SB 1001 (the Bot Disclosure Act) and similar legislation in other states.

What the AI Can and Cannot Do

The AI can:

  • Answer calls and have natural conversations with callers.
  • Ask qualifying questions (name, address, issue, urgency).
  • Book appointments on the business owner's calendar.
  • Classify calls as emergency, urgent, normal, or informational.
  • Text the business owner a summary after each call.
  • Refer callers to partner businesses when appropriate.

The AI cannot:

  • Provide medical, legal, or safety advice.
  • Quote prices unless the business owner has approved exact language.
  • Promise arrival times or dispatch a technician.
  • Make decisions outside the rules set by the business owner.

Human Oversight

All AI call flows are designed and reviewed by the Turnkey Dispatch team in collaboration with the business owner. Emergency escalation rules ensure that urgent situations are routed to a human immediately. The business owner receives a text summary of every call and can adjust the AI's behavior at any time.
