Call Recording Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Why We Record Calls
Calls handled by Turnkey Dispatch AI receptionists may be recorded and transcribed. This is necessary for:
- Generating the SMS summaries that are texted to the business owner after each call.
- Creating accurate call transcripts for the business owner's records.
- Improving AI call quality and accuracy.
- Resolving disputes about what was said during a call.
Caller Notification
The AI receptionist's greeting includes disclosure that the call may be recorded. By continuing the conversation after this disclosure, the caller consents to recording. This complies with two-party consent laws in states like California that require all parties to be informed.
Who Can Access Recordings
- The business owner who subscribes to Turnkey Dispatch.
- Turnkey Dispatch team members for quality assurance and support.
- No one else. We do not share recordings with third parties.
Retention and Deletion
Call recordings are stored securely and retained for 90 days. After 90 days, recordings are automatically and permanently deleted. If a business owner cancels their account, recordings are deleted 90 days after the cancellation date.
Business owners may request early deletion of specific recordings by emailing admin@turnkeydispatch.com.
